The Department of Homeland Security has warned citizens to prepare for potential zombie attacks, adding that such preparations could also be used in case of natural disasters.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency hosted an online seminar for its Citizen Corps organization to help emergency planners better prepare their communities for disaster. The federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention last year first launched a zombie apocalypse social media campaign for the same purposes.

I myself am the author of an urban survival book which also covers spiritual survival.
Some of what I teach and preach will indeed be useful to safeguard against a “zombie apocalypse” which DHS seems intent upon warning the public about!
BTW, the “zombies” I fear most right now are the SUV driving soccer moms (and other egomaniacs) that just plow thru red lights while on prozac and while texting on their iPhones!!!
Whether “zombies” maintain a low key appearance or whether they assume an image as the one you depict will remain to be told, as things unravel and unfold!
